As Summer winds down, please enjoy some music…

We’re doing a few shows with our buddies Not In the Face! and the Backsliders this week–at Friday’s show@ The ND, we’ll be joined by JBe and there will be a free keg of beer–doors@9, get there early before it runs out…on Saturday, we return to the City Tavern in Dallas–NITF@10, Sideshow@11, BAcksliders@12…fun fun fun~

If you’ve been to any recent shows, you know that now there are only two of us–we’ve decided to take the material and style of song we were working on with Jeremy Nail and make it a separate project, and return The Sideshow Tragedy to its roots as a rock/blues/booze duo(for those of you who remember, we know it was a LONG time ago…)This is something we’ve wanted to try for a long time, and we felt the time was right, and we think you will all LOVE what’s going to come of it–stay tuned here for more exciting news as this project develops, it feels like a new band even though it’s the oldest incarnation of the band, and that’s a good feeling…catch us out soon!

We’ll be backing up brother Hunter Thompson Singleton on a Texas mini-tour this week–on 2 shows, we will do our own set as well:

An in-depth character study, and an amazing performance by Nicholson, with great cinematography…well worth seeing, poetry on the screen.
